But whatever they did with the Teleport seems to have given it a fun little turbo-boost. I’m not sure I completely buy into the idea or understand the science behind it, because I’ve been able to throw traditional single-mold discs with just as much or more success than overmolds. MVP has argued since their inception that the “Gyro” (trademark) overmold disc design is just plain better, creating extra glide and control that is not present in traditional discs. With a rim (wing) this size, you need to put a lot of speed behind the Teleport, but if you get it released just right, without letting it go too high, this thing will really get out there! It was a fun disc to field test! Now don’t get me wrong– you won’t be able to flick your wrist and watch this thing fly a mile. The first maximum rim-width distance driver from MVP is the Teleport, and it hits the disc golf scene with something that a lot of players can’t resist– sheer distance. Weight distribution, stability, and durability of prior “bubble” discs are all improved upon by Fission. This produces an entirely new type of lightweight disc never before seen in the sport, and beyond the capability of any other manufacturer. The ultralight core allows an even higher GYRO® overmold density relative to the core, yet still remaining in the lighter weight classes - 135g to 165g in the Photon. “Colour-shift” tones in select colour optionsįission™ Microbubble Technology produces an ultralight core with evenly distributed and imperceptible weight reduction microbubbles. Also available in soft flexibility for putters.Designed to withstand the roughest conditions.High durability for a long consistent life.Do your part for the environment, and give R2 Neutron discs a try R2 Neutron discs will fly the same as their Neutron counterparts, but with the benefit of being more eco friendly. MVP Disc Sports is ready to proudly introduce its recycled plastic line – R2 Neutron! R2 Neutron is MVP’s first step towards making disc golf a more reusable and environmentally sustainable sport, and we couldn’t be prouder of it! Replicating the look and feel of classic Neutron, R2 Neutron – as a combination of many colours of Neutron plastic – will only be available in black cores with white rims (to differentiate from the classic MVP lineup). Unique colour blends are great for custom stamping.Shares durability with Neutron and Proton.Premium Quality Neutron with Cosmic Swirl Easy-to-find colours in any given terrain.Shares great durability characteristics of Proton.Widest selection of bright opaque colours.Flagship blend offering a premium look and feel.High power throwers will get a controllable hyzerflip flight, while most players will need a flat release or headwind assistance for maximum flight potential. Beginner throwers are encouraged to try slower classes for best results. The Teleport is part of an extremely fast and demanding speed class. Within the context of the 24.5mm class, Teleport has the most distance potential for the most throwers in the core distance slot. While high power throwers and headwinds can produce these shallow turnover lines, average throwers will get a long and manageably resistant driver in the Teleport. The Teleport’s straight-stable design produces a tight S-curve at high speeds, with plenty of stability to keep it headed toward its target. The Teleport is a straight-stable high speed distance driver.
